This program runs from July 2nd to August 24th on Wednesday nights in two groups: one at 6pm and one at 7:30pm, for 90 minute rehearsals each. Once you sign up, we will sort you into either the 6pm or 7:30pm slot based on instruments needed in each group.

Each week will focus on building a band from scratch! Learning songs together, creating a band name and brand, organizing a setlist, and having fun! At the end of the Summer, the bands will perform on stage in the Keloose Festival with a live audience and professional sound!

Band members will be encouraged to find their voice, learn new parts, tap into their crafting skills, and make friends along the way. All in the safe and loving environment that Joyful Sounds and its team strive to nurture.

Open to young musicians aged 13-17.

Rehearsals run in two groups for 90 minutes each on Wednesday nights from July 2nd to August 20th inclusive, one band starting at 6:00pm and the other starting at 7:30pm.

Students should bring their instruments, a water bottle, and a binder for their music.

Keyboards, drums, music stands, and microphones are provided!

Our bands are known as the best around, and sell out fast. Don’t delay in registration. 

$300 for the whole 8 weeks of Summer and the performance Sunday August 24th.

$150 will be charged upon registration date, and the remaining $150 will be charged on August 1st.
