A Tragically Hip Tribute!
Join us to learn the songs and lives of the Tragically Hip, one of the most influencial Canadian rock bands of all time. We will be learning amazing music as a band, and examining the songcraft, cultural significance, political activism, and challenges this band faced while touring across Canada and the world!
When: Monday – Thursday, 9am – 3pm

Welcome to Performance Workshop with Izra Fitch!
This workshop session is a great opportunity to work on your live performance skills – be it for recitals, auditions, speeches, or your own music career!
The class will be led by Izra Fitch, who has 10+ years experience performing on stages as a musician, singer and actress.
Together we will work on:
Effective speaking
Working with nerves
Movement and presence
What makes you YOU as a performer
A small performance at the end of session (can be a lipsync/dance/spoken word/song/monologue etc).

What happens when The Art Space & Joyful Sounds Music Studio collaborate? TWICE THE FUN with Art & Music combined!
Join us for this special workshop where students will first design and decorate their own ukulele, then learn how to string and tune the ukulele, and finish by learning to play some chords and tab!
Students will get to take their personalized artistic ukuleles home with them once the workshop is complete.
Join Zen & Joanna from The Art Space, and our team at Joyful Sounds for an interactive, artistic and musical experience like no other!

Summer Camp 2026 Registration will open on Friday January 30th
Joyful Sounds Summer Camps are back – and they’re built for kids who love to move, make music, and create! Designed for students ages 5–12, our camps blend real musical learning with high-energy fun in a week that feels exciting for campers and reassuringly organized for parents.
Each day is structured and engaging, with rotating activities like group piano, rhythm drumming, singing, dance & choreo, crafts, outside time, and supervised free-choice breaks to keep kids inspired, active, and having fun.
Families can expect a camp week full of confidence-building, friendship, and joyful music-making, and at the end of the week, you’ll receive a highlight reel packed with memories and fun moments from your child’s camp experience.
We offer full-summer enrolment options or week-by-week registration, so you can choose exactly when your child attends.
Spots fill quickly – if your child loves music, movement, and creativity, this is the summer camp they’ll talk about all year.
Our camps are run by our Joyful Sounds professional team, and we keep our group ratios as low as 1:6. We believe that children deserve a safe summer that can be filled with special memories.
What to Expect

You can register for camps as individual weeks, or you can choose the whole summer for a discounted price. Each week is different, and trust us – they will want to come back!
The Finer Details
Camps run Monday to Friday 9am – 4pm, with drop off beginning at 8:30am and pickup by 4:30pm included at no additional cost. A weekly feature is a walk to a local outdoor space, based on the weather forecast, and is a highlight of the week.
Students who do not own a ukulele should ensure they bring one to camp each week they are enrolled. We can send purchase links in the near future for those who need one. All other supplies, including piano keyboards, will be provided at camp.
Our camps are known as the best around, and sell out fast. Don’t delay in registration.
Children Turning 5 and Special Needs
Note: Children turning 5 by August 1st 2026 are eligible for our full day camps. Due to the fine motor skills, dexterity and attention span needed for our musical learning, we want to ensure children who attend can be successful and have fun.
Note: Have a child needing extra support? Please reach out in advance. If your child spends more than 50% of their school day in the learning centre at their school, supplemental staff support will be required for our camps at an additional cost.

Individual Weeks:
$280* including early drop off & late pickup
*Aug 4-7: $224 due to Monday holiday
Students attending camp will need a ukulele. We will send suggested purchase links for those who are interested in May.
1st Weekly Camp will be charged upon registration date.
Additional weekly camps will be charged on the 15th of each subsequent month until all camps are paid in full.

50% will be charged upon registration.
Remaining 50% will be charged on May 15th
Withdrawals and Refunds
Withdrawing from a camp before May 1st will result in a full refund.
Withdrawing from a camp on May 1st but before July 1st will result in a financial credit on your account that can be applied to any other Joyful Sounds class or lesson that is age appropriate
Withdrawing from a camp on July 1st or later will result in no refund or financial credit.
